Competition: Euro 2016 qualifier
Market: Belgium to win against Wales
Odds:
Belgium travel to face Wales in Friday’s Euro 2016 qualifier, with the Red Devils in fantastic form ahead of the crucial clash against their fellow automatic qualifying hopefuls. The visitors have won three games on the bounce, the most recent of which saw them beat France in a seven-goal thriller.
Four wins and two draws from their six games in all competitions see Belgium as one of the most in-form nations in Europe, but Wales did force a draw against them in an earlier meeting. Friday’s clash could be a different story, however, with how impressive the high-flyers have been again any opposition of late.
Wales are no slouches themselves. Chris Coleman’s side have been in food form themselves, albeit a little less convincingly. Prior to their recent win against Israel, the Dragons have been involved in some close affairs in their qualifiers, with wins against the likes of Cyprus and Andorra still being a struggle.
As a result, Belgium will be all out for victory on Friday, and may have difficult breaking down Wales if they adopt tactics purely to stifle the Red Devils. Coral are backing the visitors with odds of 5/6 for Belgium to win this week.
