Inter planning Caceres swoop

Inter Milan are reportedly considering a move for Sevilla defender Martin Caceres as a potential replacement for Maicon.

French sources claim Maicon is the latest object of desire for well-funded Paris Saint-Germain, who are believed to be formalising a 15 million-euro bid for the Brazil right-back.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Inter are preparing for life without the defender and have set their sights on Caceres, who is widely expected to leave Sevilla in January.

The Uruguay international has been linked with Juventus, where he played on loan in 2009/10, but it is thought if Juve sign Porto s Fredy Guarin they will drop out of the race for the former Barcelona defender.

Caceres joined Sevilla from Barca on a permanent basis in May 2011 fo…
