We’re close to putting a bow on another fantastic regular season of NFL football and like every other season before it, there’s been standout teams and standout bets, for reasons both good and bad.

Hopefully, if you’ve been a regular consumer of this article, you’ve been able to take advantage of some of the standout NFL betting trends that I’ve been pinpointing every week. Liverpool Win Again!

There was no better way to close the year any better than with a Premier League game between high-flying Liverpool and determined Manchester City, who locked horns at Anfield on 31 December.

High expectations have not been met however, but Liverpool fans will have plenty of reason for optimism as their team recorded their fourth win in a row to stay in the title chase behind leaders Chelsea.
